Overnight Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
1 tablespoon of nut and seed mix
2 dates chopped up
or 1/4 cup fruit (see ideas below)

Instructions:
In container with tight-fitting cover, add milk and uncooked oats. Stir in desired extras or fruit.

Cover; refrigerate at least 8 hours but no longer than 3 days before eating. I normally make 3 at a time.

I find Strawberries are nice in it and so are blueberries.

I use this recipe for Breakfast. Chia seeds are a good source of fiber and omega 3 to help you get though the day.

The last bottle is
Chia and date Cereal

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
3/4 to 1 cup of milk or almond milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
cinnamon
nectar or sugar to taste
4 dried dates chopped up
1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds

Instructions:
Add all the ingredients into a bowl mix well.
(I soak them over night) or for about 20 mins.
