♥ General Tso’s Chops

6 boneless pork
1 egg
2 Tbs water
1 cup flour
garlic powder
oil for frying

General Tso’s glaze:
1/2 c honey
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 tsp ginger
dash of cayenne
1/4 c soy sauce
1/2 Tbs minced garlic
1 Tbs butter

1. beat eggs and water together, set aside
2. mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in shallow bowl
3. dip chops in flour, then egg, then back in flour
4. Gentle shake to get loose flour off
5. Place in pan w/ oil for frying (Nathaniel did this part– I don’t fry stuff)
6. cook roughly 6 minutes on each side, flipping only once to avoid breaking breading
7. place fried chops in 9×13 pan

8. saute garlic and butter together
9. add honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and cayenne; bring to boil
10 pour 1/2 glace over chops, flip chops and 1/2 glaze on other side

11. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20-25 minutes

They are NOT crispy or crunchy, but they have got an AMAZING flavor!!!
Now for the bad part– these are NOT that great on carbs!!!
